Well I was finally able to build the latest srpm on linuxppc however I have noticed a problem with files it produces. It appears that libXm.a is being built with -g because it is of almost identical size to libXm_d.a. Has anyone on intel seen this problem. My understanding is that you can`t strip a static lib safely so the solution would have to be keeping the libXm.a build from using -g. Thanks for any information. |
